Teacher Workshop: Science on the Sand

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Come explore the shore with an introduction to Southern California’s sandy beach habitat!

+ Get familiar with our local sandy beach animals in the marine science laboratory!

+ Wet your feet exploring Cabrillo’s Outer Beach with CMA’s Education Team!

+ Find out new ways to incorporate outdoor experiences into your curriculum!

+ Try your hands at some sandy beach STEAM with fellow educators!

There will also be great give-aways and refreshments. This workshop is free to attend but space is limited.
