Save the date and come celebrate Earth Day at CMA!
Start with a beach cleanup from 8-10 am. Then from 10 am-4 pm in the main aquarium, the festivities begin with live music, eco-conscious exhibitors, eco-crafts, movie screenings and so much more!
At 1 pm, listen to a reading of All the Way to the Ocean by Joel Harper

12-2pm Salt Marsh Open House: Come observe and learn about the life in our local muddy habitat
12pm Birds of the Salt Marsh! Talk and Walk, meet in the Mudflat Room
12:30pm Photo Journal of Shore and Sea Birds! Meet in the auditorium
1pm Joel Harper, author of All the Way to the Ocean, book signing, reading and music demonstration
1:30pm Birds of the Channel Islands! Talk and walk, meet in the Channel Islands Room
1:30pm Get your hands dirty and help us plant a California native plant in the Salt Marsh Native Garden
2pm Baby Sea Animal Feeding in the Aquatic Nursery
2:40pm Pelicans 101! Bird talk, meet in the auditorium
3pm Hatch Baby Grunion under the coral tree

“Design Your 2011 Earth Day Scrapbook” craft. The 12-page scrapbook can be arranged by the 4 seasons – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter so you can keep notes on your Earth Day activities for the entire year!
