PolarTREC Workshop

Cabrillo will be hosting a PolarTREC workshop presented by Cristina Solis and a researcher from San Diego State University. Solis is a Los Angeles area middle school teacher who spent time as a research assistant in the arctic circle in Alaska studying microbial activity in thawing arctic permafrost. Solis will present the research she was involved in, classroom curriculum, and how you can become a PolarTREC teacher too!

LAUSD teachers, this workshop is a salary point approved workshop.
