    Do you want a fun and exciting introduction to marine life IN your class? Then Ocean Outreach is for you! With an extensive marine education background, enthusiasm and animated teaching style, our Ocean Outreach instructors bring a memorable experience to your class. Hands-on demonstrations, specimens, and student involvement enhance the educational experience. Each program is tailored to the grade level and interests of the class.

What is Plankton Anyway?

Dive into the science of plankton and watch as a student is transformed into a scuba-diving plankton collector.  Through science inquiry, experiments and an up-close encounter with LIVE tidepool animals your students will learn about these amazing life forms which are so important to our own survival.

* Limit 30 students per classroom program. Additional similar programs at the same site on the same day will be $70/program, with a maximum number of four programs per day. After-school programs (any program beginning after 2:30 pm) are $230 for a single class, $320 for two classes.
