The iNaturalist 101 Training is led by the Community Science Program at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
You will learn
*What community science is and its importance to the Museum's urban nature research in Southern California
*How to use the iNaturalist mobile app to join projects, take photos, explore your surroundings, and engage with the online community
*Pro tips on taking wildlife photographs for scientific research
Training details
*No experience necessary! This training is for beginners who want to learn how to use the iNaturalist mobile app and participate in Community Science
*Attending the training is free, but an RSVP is required
*Training starts with a presentation indoors and then transitions outdoors for practice using the iNaturalist mobile app
