Oceanography 101 Educator Workshop

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Are you interested in bringing the science of studying the ocean into your K - 5 classroom?

Join us for a morning of ocean science activities, hosted by UCS Dornsife and the Joint Educational Project.

+ Get familiar with our local species in the Marine Science Laboratory!

+ Learn the basic concepts around tides, currents, whale migration, and beach ecology!

+ Try out some fun STEM activities with other K-5 educators!

This workshop is free to attend but space is limited.
