Join us for a special evening that starts with a Suds for Sharks fundraiser followed by a book talk and signing with Dr. David Shiffman!
Why Sharks Matter: A Deep Dive with the World's Most Misunderstood Predator

SCHEDULE:
5 p.m - Suds for Sharks: The evening kicks off with a fundraiser featuring sharktastic socializing, food trucks, and hand-crafted ales and lagers by San Pedro Brewing Company.
7 p.m. - Book Talk: Dr. David Shiffman, a marine conservation biologist who studies sharks and how to protect them, will talk about his book Why Sharks Matter: A Deep Dive with the World's Most Misunderstood Predator.
8 p.m. - Book Signing: Dr. David Shiffman will sign his book near the gift shop.
Event Costs: To raise money for shark and ray conservation efforts, entry to the event is $10 and includes one drink. Each additional drink is $10 and can be used for beer, wine, soda, water, etc. Proceeds from the event will be donated to AZA's SAFE (Saving Animals from Extinction) Sharks and Rays program.

Parking: Parking is not included in your ticket - please be prepared to pay $1 per hour for parking.
Safety Protocols: Proof of vaccination is required to attend in person for 12 years old and up. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the auditorium and aquarium.
