Become a FRIENDS of CMA Community Sponsor!

The Community Sponsor Program is designed for small businesses and community groups to support the Aquarium through an annual membership or donation. But this is no ordinary membership! By adopting CMA through a community sponsorship, your organization becomes part of a broader community leadership team working together to fulfill the Aquarium’s mission and provide essential environmental and marine science education to more than 150,000 schoolchildren each year.

Community Sponsors play an integral role in supporting the Aquarium by purchasing an annual membership or making an in-kind donation worth $250 to $1,499. Three different Community Sponsor levels allow small businesses and community groups to choose a membership that best meets their organization’s needs.

“The Community Sponsor Program is a great way for CMA to make a closer connection to local groups and small businesses in a way that best suits their organization,” said the Development Manager for FRIENDS of CMA. “For example, Pacific Wilderness donated $1,000 worth of SCUBA diving supplies for our aquarists and Sir Speedy donated $500 in printing for mailings. All types of donations are welcome and ultimately benefit the Aquarium.”

Even better, each Community Sponsor level offers special benefits including public recognition, discounts on Aquarium events and opportunities for online marketing.

Please consider adopting the Aquarium by becoming a Community Sponsor and make a closer connection to the work we do. Being a Community Sponsor enriches the lives of 300,000 visitors each year and sends a clear message to employees, clients and the community about your organization’s dedication to preserving Southern California’s unique ocean environment.

If your organization would like to become a FRIENDS of CMA Community Sponsor, please contact Danielle Knecht by calling (310) 548-7562. For a complete list of Community Sponsor benefits click here.
