Scholarships Offered
Graduating high school and university-level students who have been
affiliated with Cabrillo Marine Aquarium or its FRIENDS support
organization are invited to apply for scholarships of up to $1,000
each.
To apply for a Christiane Rinkes Memorial Fund Scholarship,
applicants must be present or past volunteers with a minimum of two
years' service or 144 service hours, or must be present or past
part-time employees of the Aquarium or FRIENDS with a minimum of two
years' employment. Eligible candidates must also be pursuing an
undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university,
preferably in the life or environment sciences, and must submit proof
of a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, a completed application and 250-word essay.

application. Applications can also be received by calling Volunteer
Coordinator Floyd Anderson, 310 548-7562 x229 or by visiting the
Aquarium's Information Booth between noon and 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00
a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekends. Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 5, 2013.
