CMA Kids News Summer Camp |

Join PressFriends middle and high school mentors and CMA junior and senior docents for a free, fun summer camp. Please only sign up if you can make the entire week (sign up at http://tinyurl.com/cmakids2013). The camp meets in Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's library.
Here's a tentative schedule:
July 15 - 2-4 p.m. - News day. Find out all the "news" about Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. Interview CMA staff and report on the latest news for CMA Kids News.
July 16 - 2-4 p.m. - Profiles day - profile the staff and volunteers at CMA. Find out about local marine life - PressFriends mentors and CMA docents take students on a tour of the Aquarium. Research your favorite marine animal in the library.
July 17 - 2-4 p.m. - Marine life day. Join a CMA Educator on a fun activity. Past workshops have included tidepool walks, visits to the salt marsh, collecting plankton and many more fun adventures. Research and write an article about what you learned.
July 18 - 2-4 p.m. - Robotics day - join us for a special day of fun experiments run by engineering students from the California Academy of Math & Sciences and other local high schools. Write articles on the engineering concepts that you learn.
