 The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) is America’s leading accrediting organization for zoos and aquariums and accredits only those institutions that have achieved rigorous standards for animal care, education, wildlife conservation and science.
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is proud to be a member of the AZA. In recent years, CMA has been honored with the AZA’s Munson Aquatic Conservation Exhibitry Award for the Exploration Center and the Aquatic Nursery.
