Celebrate the bounty of the sea with fun-in-the-sun games, activities, music and hometown spirit!
Children of all ages will enjoy ocean-related activities throughout the day - get your face painted, do crafts and ocean related activities, participate in the beach olympics, visit the food trucks, stand next to a life sized whale, learn how to cast a fishing rod, attend informative animal feedings, speak with conservation minded exhibitors, meet adoptable dogs from Carson Shelter and listen and dance to live bands! All while enjoying the sun at the beach!
Music Schedule:
12noon - Robert Dorame and his band, member of the Gabrielino Tongva Indians of California, performorming nature inspired family singalongs
1:30pm - Lucy Morningstar, local musician performing acoustic island reggae
Free and open to all ages; registration not required.
